ABOUT US
English may not be the most spoken language in the world, but it is the official language in a large number of countries.
But how can we provide this to deprived children in a third world country. As Nelson Mandela rightly said "Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world", Walter Cronkite added "Whatever the cost of libraries, the price is cheap compared to that of ignorant nation.
I am personally burdened to see children with potentials skills and abilities growing up and unfortunately being deprived of basic education and literacy skills that could have enhanced their God given talents.
I believe strongly that this basic need of providing English reading materials them children and assisting them to read will open communication opportunities regardless of ethnicity , colour or background.
English is based on alphabets and compared to Chinese can be learned fairly quickly. when children learn as their second language in schools it will be the beginning of gaining confidence and improve communication skills. Learning English will open job prospects and increase standard of living and above all it will make one bilingual and more employable in every country in the world.
JPCC hopes to bring this to every deprived child in Ghana encouraging and providing them with materials and equipments to their doorstep.Children need support ,exposure , good habits of reading and knowing the importance of education in their earlier years.I know most of us have been victims of deprivation. This is the time to give to other children and move the nation of Ghana forward.
Let’s Do this together!
